Should have said 'a moving forward with one of the Davids thread'. As for the other two Davids, the only movement will be six feet under.

You should get 4 t-shirts printed so you and 3 mates can stand next to each other, bearing the legend "MOVING FORWARD WITH DAVID", whilst smiling.broadly and giving the thumbs up.
That would be a good idea.

Getting the shirts printed won't be the problematic part of that one.

I'll save my judgement until we've seen some improvement in results and the football we are playing, until then it's all spin from the club that we are seeing.

Looks like it's back to 19th Century Allarderci HOOF tactics.
Rio Ferdinand said in his autobiography: "Sometimes our main tactic was the long, high, diagonal cross. It was embarrassing. In one home game against Fulham we had 81 crosses! I was thinking, why are we doing this? Andy Carroll doesn't play for us!”
Can't wait. PERCENTAGE FOOTBALL!

He's giving the kids a chance which Bilic would never have done

Everton were never quite as agricultural as Allardyce teams were.
I think he'll make us very defensive but not necessarily the most long ball in the world. We shall see.

67, Agreed that is a good thing and I think Declan should be given a run at CB considering injuries and the way he has conducted himself so far. He can't do much worse than the others if truth be told. Martinez deserves a run out at some point when you consider the amount he is scoring, but he didn't pull up any trees at Oxford? There are a few others who look promising who will hopefully get a chance at some point.
I like all what I'm hearing from Moyes, although proof will be on the pitch. Again he can't be any worse than Bilic.
It will not be pretty, but if he can keep us up we will be happy and he will be £2 m richer. I would then expect him to sign an extension to his contract and rebuild in the summer, whether the 2bobs will spend any serious money again I very much doubt, and so it goes on......

Strong team.. Pearce is the stand out appointment for me...puts my mind at rest.
Big on youth players..knows Mark Noble very well..knows the club very well...leads by example type.
It will be pragmatic..but we will become a side that actually knows what's it's doing..no not look a shambles.
Moyes is up for this..only good news for us

Rio sounds like Tony Gale when Macari came in..never gave the geezer a chance.
No.. Moyes isn't taggart. .and Macari wasn't Johnny lyall. . That's what happens when stubborn ..influential players won't entertain change..the new guvnor is fucked.
Moyes was fucked from the start at the mancs
As was Macari at ours.
Look at Macari signings..did okay the fella IMO..
